The Tour of Britain is the UK's Premier Cycle Race with the cream of international cycling talent and this year the Grand Depart Stage 1 of the Tour starts right here in Peebles.

We are delighted to let you know some of the exciting events at The Tontine in the coming weeks.
Have you got a full house this Half Term? To make things easier for you we are serving food all day on both Saturday 19th February & Sunday 20th February.
We have a Cocktail Mixologist on Friday 25th February, booking essential.
Quill, celtic entertainment, are to perform live at the Tontine on Saturday 5th March. If you love music then we have a fantastic night lined up that’s not to be missed.

If you love music then we have a fantastic weekend lined up that’s not to be missed.
The Tontine is very excited to be hosting Quill, a superb 6 piece celtic rock band featuring violin, mandolin and vocal harmonies. The band will be performing live in the Adam Room on Saturday 5th March and we have put together a special package for the weekend.

Our Summer 99 special offer has really taken off and is proving to be quite a hit with our guests.
The Scottish Borders are literally packed with interesting places to visit and enjoy. We have chosen six of our favourite attractions and have included them in our Summer99 promotion. All of our customers visiting on a Summer99 break will be given a ticket to their choice of one of our six featured attractions. These include visiting Scotland’s oldest inhabited house, Osprey watching at Kailzie, wandering around the home of Sir Walter Scott, seeing The Arab Clamshell Platen, Wharfedale Reliance and Original Heidelberg in action, marveling at the numerous accomplishments of John Buchan or gathering a few gardening tips from the experts at our local botanic garden.
